Here the people of the house prepare delightful dishes and breakfasts
from local ingredients according to the seasons. Come and taste authentic local food.

OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY
We use almost entirely Finnish ingredients – we hunt, fish, grow, and gather straight from nature ourselves.
We do not use processed products, which means our menu is not fully vegan, dairy-free or egg-free.
We hope you understand the philosophy behind these choices: thank you for sharing our love for genuine, unprocessed and natural food.

Combine your visit with fishing, canoeing, or hiking, and end the evening with a sauna and a swim in a lake.

BEST OF THE WILD FOOD

Available 1 Jan–30 Apr, Fridays at 19:00 (doors close at 19:10).

The seven-delicacies tasting journey begins with turnip soup and homemade bread, followed by slightly smoked game with berries, local barley with mushrooms, and treasures from the water – a heavenly soup made from local crayfish and fish tartare from clear northern lakes.

Then the world’s best local reindeer with seasonal roots and sauce.

The sweet ending: the house’s signature Crème Brûlée, herbal tea and a small sweet surprise.
